BACONTROL-PCR
This is a quantitative material specially designed for PCR, in which each tablet contains a specific number of inactivated cells, and the number of genomic units (g.u.) is indicated.
This allows a control over the whole analytical process, from the initial sample concentration to the final analysis.
It has a shelf life of 12 months from release date, and is provided in a dispenser of 5 tablets.
Available microorganisms are:
- Legionella pneumophila (Low concentration)
- Legionella pneumophila (High concentration)
BACONTROL-DNA
This is a quantitative material which is presented in freeze-dried format in a vial, being certified the quantity of DNA in µg/vial.
Designed for validation and quality control of the PCR amplification step.
It has a shelf life of 9 months from the release date and it is provided in individual vials, including a vial with PCR grade distilled water.
Currently available microorganisms are:
- Legionella pneumophila
- Escherichia coli
